English translations make footnotes for things like meanings behind names. Currently footnotes are not written in the Kovol translation, but here are places they could be used:

- 2:1 The name Kein sounds like getting.
- 41:45 The name Safenat Panea means "God speaks and lives"
- 41:51 Manasseh sounds like "causing to forget"
- 41:52 Ephraim sounds like "fruitful"
